Do you deliver?
Because most of my cakes have so many added details, delivery is always recommended. Delivery charges can range from $10-$65
Payments
If orders are under $100, payment is due in full. Events over $100, $50 deposit is due to reserve date. Weddings require a $100 deposit to reserve date or if payment is made in full, a 5% discount will be applied to cake balance before delivery and sales tax. $300 order minimum to receive discount. Payments can be made by cash, check, PayPal, and most major credit cards.
Do you offer allergy free cakes?
Unfortunately, being an out of home bakery and with many cakes going out each weekend, Lemon Tulip Cakes cannot accommodate these orders.
How soon should I order?
As soon as possible! Usually at least 3 weeks lead time is preferred but that still does not guarantee your date is available. Spring will book usually before the holidays since I do mostly weddings.
Cancellations
If order is cancelled three weeks before event, everything paid after deposit will be refunded. Deposit is non-refundable. Unfortunately, in that last three weeks, ingredients have been ordered/bought and flowers, characters or other details have been made.
Cost & Size
Deciding how many guests you will need to feed is the first step in figuring out how much cake you will need. But I will take care of those details. I will provide you with the servings and we can always add more! I will make sure you have plenty but not too much. Then we will move on to pricing. I will provide you with a sketch/picture with all the details and costs as a final step before filling out the order form. No surprises here!
Do you offer cake tastings?
Tastings are offered for weddings and other very large events only. Wedding tastings are free for the first two flavor choices, each additional choice is $10.
Do you offer fake tiers & kitchen sheets?
Currently, large wedding cakes are in style. For large designs 5+ tiers, dummy cakes may be offered or to achieve a certain shape. Kitchen sheet cakes depend on how much availability I have due to minimal storage space. But preferably not.
